A private alternative to Myfxbook for account analysis

Public monitoring services are great for publishing a verified track record. Strategy X-Ray is built for a different job: analyzing an account privately and understanding the strategy behind it.

Free. No master password. Your data is visible only to you.

Different tools for different jobs

Myfxbook and similar sites are designed around public, verified track records, community features and signal discovery. If you want to publish your results or browse other traders’ systems, they are the right place.

Strategy X-Ray focuses on private analysis. Nothing is published, and you can analyze an account from a statement file without connecting anything. On top of the statistics, it can reconstruct the trading rules behind an account and generate an Expert Advisor or bot from them — something monitoring sites are not built to do.

Publishing a record vs understanding a strategy

Public monitoringConnectaccountPublishverified recordFollowerscompare systemsStrategy X-RayStatement orinvestor passwordPrivate statsonly you see themReconstructrules + match scoreGenerate EAMQL4/5 · cTrader
Two different jobs: publishing a track record versus understanding and reusing the strategy behind it.

Public monitoring answers “is this record real?”. Strategy X-Ray answers “how does this strategy trade, and can I run it myself?”. The two complement each other.

Typical workflows

  1. Due diligence on a signal or account manager. Upload the statement they sent you, check drawdown, lot behaviour and consistency before you invest.
  2. Audit your own EA. Compare the live statement with your backtest: hours, symbols and win rate should match. If they don’t, something differs between test and reality.
  3. Turn a manual track record into an EA. Reconstruct the rules behind your own discretionary trading and get code you can backtest and automate.
  4. Move a strategy to another platform. Reconstruct an MT4 strategy and export it as an MQL5, cTrader or SharpTrader bot.

Questions

Can I use both?

Yes. Many traders publish a verified record on a monitoring site and use Strategy X-Ray privately to study accounts and strategies.

Is my account public on Strategy X-Ray?

No. Accounts and reports are visible only to the signed-in user who added them.

Do I need to connect my account?

No. A statement file is enough. Connecting with the investor password is optional and adds automatic 6-hourly updates.
