Positions, not just fills
Exchanges list individual executions. We rebuild them into positions — scale-ins, partial exits and reversals included — for one-way and hedge mode.
Real costs
Trading fees, fees paid in coins and funding payments are booked to the positions they belong to, so profit and drawdown are what you actually earned.
Statistics that matter
Gain, drawdown, profit factor, win rate, holding time, results by coin, hour and weekday — weekends included, because crypto never closes.
Create a read-only API key
Strategy X-Ray only reads. Before any data is loaded we check the key’s permissions and refuse keys that can trade, withdraw or transfer.
- Binance: Profile → API Management → Create API. Leave only “Enable Reading” switched on.
- Bybit: Profile → API → Create New Key → System-generated. Choose read-only permissions.
- OKX: Profile → API keys → Create. Tick only “Read” and keep the passphrase — OKX asks for it together with the key.
- Recommended: restrict the key to the IP address of our analysis server, shown in the connect form.
How much history is available
Exchange APIs return about the last 3 months of trades on Binance and OKX and up to 2 years on Bybit. A connected account keeps syncing every 6 hours, so the history grows from there. For older trades, download the trade-history export (CSV or XLSX) from the exchange and upload it — the file format is recognised automatically.
From statistics to a trading bot
The statistics are free. When you want to know how the account trades, run a strategy reconstruction: candidate rule sets are replayed on minute quotes from the same exchange and matched trade by trade with the real fills. The result can be exported as a SharpTrader bot — SharpTrader connects to the exchanges itself — or as an MQL5 Expert Advisor for crypto CFDs.
Can Strategy X-Ray place orders with my key?
No. Only keys without trading, withdrawal and transfer rights are accepted, and the service sends read requests only.
Which markets are analyzed?
USDT-margined perpetual futures and spot. Inverse (coin-margined) contracts and options are not analyzed yet.
Can I analyze a copy-trading lead trader?
Yes, if you have their trade history: your own copy account through an API key, or an export of the lead’s trades. The report shows how the strategy really behaves before you follow it.
Is it free?
Statistics are free. Strategy reconstruction and the bot code are paid with tokens.
